Linking to CentralChat

CentralChat is now accepting server link applications.

Please note that we have no interest in being 'absorbed' into some larger network, and all servers wishing to link must agree with the following:

• must be willing to use CentralChat services/statistics/security servers
• must host own Blitzed Open Proxy Monitor and use all blacklists we specify
• should have an average user count of at least twenty users
• must be running Unreal3.2 (or willing to change to UnrealIRCd)
• each server may have a maximum of one global operator per fifteen users and one server administrator - note that the server owner will NOT be entitled to Network Administrator status (ie. a server with thirty users can have a maximum of one server administrator and two global operators)
• must adopt the CentralChat network rules

To apply for a link, please email the following information to techATcentralchatDOTnet, or talk to an operator in #helpdesk:

• why you want to link to CentralChat and what you could bring to the network
• your IRC nickname and IRC experience (what networks have you been an oper on, etc.)
• geographical server location
• server IP address
• current average user count
• shell/VPS/dedicated server? In which datacentre is the server hosted?
• Hub or leaf?
• User limit

Successful applicants will be granted a thirty day trial link period.
